Mogette et Le Bungalow de Clemenceau, Part 2

For Part 1, Click HERE

Well, and alors, we come back to le futur...

Deux-Mille Dix-Neuf...
And our friend Mogette
Who cannot forget
That...

La visite to le bungalow of Clemenceau
Which was...
Fascinante...
And on this first Sunday of avril
Mogette was très contente
And full of the joie de vivre.

La visite was GRATIS; Proprio did not pay
Because this was April's first Sunday...

And, for good measure
There was the hidden treasure
Of explications and démonstrations
By an artisan tapissier called Jérôme
Who had renovated the fabrics of this estival... Home Sweet Home
Just two years ago.

Que du bonheur!
As Jérôme spoke of the artisan adventure
Of finding fabrics and couleurs
And mélanges de textures and textiles
With a Nineteen Twenties feel

And there were plenty
Of exemples there
Of the tapissier's savoir-faire
On dessus de lits, curtains and windowsills
In La Maison du Tigre
Sobre, with no frills

Mogette, elle
Listened very well
And even posed for a forbidden photo or two
On bed, on desk and canapé...
Can you spot the intruder?

click on Jérôme to visit his website
And to make this... Perfect Day

Après-visite
She shared
A quiet pique-nique
Of jambon et baguette
Craquante et croustillante
In Le Jardin singulier et unique
With her propriétaire...

The colours, inspired by Clem's friend Claude
(Monet, bien sûr)
Iris bleues, tulipes rouges
Against the pure azur
And pinetree greens, the Vendée dunes
And there, au fond,
La petite maison
Aux volets verts...

Culture, Histoire and mauvaise poésie
Mogette, à l'aise, and young and free...
